ThunderHouse knows the power of "best of breed" resources and will go to great efforts to get those resources on the innovator's team.

Arthur R. Tauder - Founding Partner
Art Tauder created the ThunderHouse concept as a result of his keen interest in innovation and 40+ years experience in marketing communications with a specialization in new products. During his early days in the advertising agency business, he played a lead role in the successful introduction of new products for Warner-Lambert, Lever Brothers, Coca-Cola and many other global clients. His thinking has been influenced by the work of Murray Hillman, the founder of the original Interpublic Strategy Workshop. Later in his career, he championed new innovative service offerings as Senior Vice President of the Interpublic Group and as Vice Chairman of the McCann-Erickson WorldGroup. Based on his experience and interest in new technologies, Tauder was appointed a Visiting Scholar at The MIT Media Lab.

Carlos Herranz - Managing Partner, ThunderHouse Mexico
Carlos Herranz has worked as a Marketing Communications executive for global groups including Young & Rubicam, Foote, Cone & Belding and for the last 25 years, McCann-Erickson. His last assignment was as President of McCann WorldGroup Mexico, the country's number one marketing communications agency. In this capacity, he expanded the charter of the advertising agency to include Sales Promotion, Relationship Marketing, Experiential Marketing and Healthcare. Carlos Herranz, a Spaniard by birth, has managed agencies in Madrid, served as Area Manager in Latin America and managed companies in Venezuela and Mexico. He also founded EPIC, a Sports & Event Marketing Company in London that served as a primary marketing resource for the '92 Barcelona Olympics and represented Nestle in negotiations with Disney enterprises. Presently, Carlos is Managing Partner of Thunderhouse Mexico, with responsibility for sales and implementation of the MCashback technology in Mexico.

Anthony G. (Tony) Miller - Managing Partner, ThunderHouse Canada
Anthony G. (Tony) Miller, is best known in Canada as the long serving CEO and Managing Partner of Maclaren. At the time of its acquisition by The Interpublic Group in 1990, Maclaren was Canada's largest and most celebrated advertising agency. Tony subsequently held executive positions with Interpublic owned subsidiaries, including CEO of Lintas New York, Regional Director, North America for McCann Erickson, and Vice Chairman, McCann Worldgroup and member of the Global Board. He relinquished line responsibilities in 2003, and returned to his native Canada, as Chairman Emeritus of Maclaren McCann in Toronto. Tony joined ThunderHouse as the Canadian Partner in 2006. Presently, Tony is Managing Partner of Thunderhouse Canada, responsibility for sales and implementation of the MCashback technology in Canada.

Market Sector Lead Partners
The ThunderHouse practice will be organized by sector (e.g., by Industry, Geographic Market and/or Audience). Each sector will have a Lead Partner with primary responsibility for servicing assignments in that sector. At times, assignments will be on the cusp of more than one sector and Lead Partners will share responsibilities.

Ira Carlin - Lead Partner for Media & Marketing Communications Technologies
Ira Carlin brings to focus 36 years of top level media and new media management and strategic thinking for some of the largest agencies and clients on a global scale. Mr. Carlin was Chairman-International of MAGNA Global Worldwide, a groundbreaking operation designed to focus and enhance the marketplace leverage of the Interpublic media operations, ‘Initiative’ and ‘Universal McCann’. Earlier, Mr. Carlin was Chairman and CEO of Universal McCann, the $15 billion media arm or McCann-Erickson Worldwide, and EVP/Worldwide Media Director at McCann. Recognized as an industry leader on the subject of new technologies and the future of marketing, advertising and media, Mr. Carlin has been a featured speaker at many world venues. He was Chairman of Thunderhouse, IPG’s first global online advertising and media operation. Mr. Carlin was “Media Director of the Year” by AdWeek/MediaWeek in 1994. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Mediaplex, Valueclick, and currently, The Knot.

Richard Villante - Lead Partner for Marketing Communications (MarCom)
Richard brings 35+ years of industry experience to ThunderHouse with an extensive range of Client management expertise, including Citibank, Coca-Cola, and Johnson & Johnson. Richard was formerly President of Lowe & Partners, and in the mid 1990's Chairman of the Interpublic Allied Communications Group, the first diversified services group at IPG since Marion Harper days. Villante also was part of the management team at CKS, a leader in Internet marketing communications, and most recently he helped launch Coleman Brandworx.
